The influence from Mercedes-Benz is evident when you take a look at the diamond-quilted stitching on the doors and the sliver row of buttons that are positioned below the floating infotainment screen. While these are both aspects borne from influence, some standout items include the four-spoke steering wheel, the center console rotary dial gear selector, and the digital dashboard display.
Wanting More but Leaving us Wanting
While we would love to have more details regarding the new Kia K900, some items have to be kept for the show that will take place later this month. Right now, we don’t know which platform underpins this new version of the Kia luxury car, but it could ride on the larger architecture used in the Genesis G80 and G90. With that in mind, we might see the 3.3-liter Lambda V6 engine under the hood while no information has been shared regarding whether a four-cylinder engine will be offered or if this V6 will be the one chosen for the drive.
What you can expect for the new model of the K900 is a sleek, elegant, and large sedan that carries the brand forward as the previous generation was able to do. This is a car that doesn’t sell in large numbers, but those customers who do choose this incredible car learn they can have a fantastic luxury vehicle with the size and look desired at a price that’s much more affordable.
