Nissan Updates the Maxima for 2019

Nissan Updates the Maxima for 2019

Choose power and performance in a sedan that can give you the fun you want with the Nissan Maxima that will be the car you enjoy every day.

It wasn’t too long ago that Nissan was considering deleting the Maxima from the lineup entirely. Thankfully, the strong sales and impressive qualities offered for the Maxima in the North American market have allowed this car to soldier on as an excellent sports sedan with luxury appointments. For the 2019 model year, Nissan has made some excellent improvements to this car in order to give us the drive we want with the 300 horsepower engine under the hood. The changes you’ll find come in the areas that aren’t found under the hood.

Making Changes on the Outside of the Nissan Maxima

You’ll see a difference in the new Maxima right away. The front of the car features a larger grille with a deeper V-motion feature in the grill. The headlights are now LED models and the taillights and rear fascia have been reworked to give a new look. There are also new quad exhaust tips in the rear to give you the outlets you want. If you choose the SR model you’ll have a new rear spoiler to give you a sportier look. There’s even a new paint color you can choose called Sunset Drift.

Upgrading the Interior of this Nissan

Once you move inside the new Nissan Maxima, you’ll see upgraded materials across all trims, new stitching, seat patterns, and even updated speaker grills. The Platinum Reserve model adds Rakuda Tan semi-aniline leather upholstery along with satin-bronze interior accents. This car benefits from the addition of the Nissan Safety Shield 360 package of safety items that bundle six driver assistance features into a package for you. These items include automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic parking. This package is standard on Platinum models and is part of the SR Premium Package for other trims.

The Trims You Can Choose From

There are five trim levels for you to choose when you’re looking for the right version of the Nissan Maxima for you to drive. These five trims are S, SV, SL, SR, and Platinum. The Platinum model rides on diamond-cut wheels that are 19-inches in size. Items you’ll find across the lineup include a retuned chassis, upgraded steering, and improvements in the steering and brakes to make this a car that’s more active and more engaging when you take it on the road.

The Nissan Maxima Continues to Fly the Flag

For several years, the Nissan Maxima has been the flagship sedan model from the brand. This impressive car continues to be the one that you want when you’re looking for a car that brings several qualities together. This car is a sports sedan, a luxury car, a technological marvel, and an excellent family sedan all in one. Look for the new 2019 version of the Maxima to be offered at dealers later in December in order to give you the right car for the drive you want to make every day.
