Hyundai brings more in the Palisade

The newest member of the Hyundai SUV lineup is the new flagship of the Palisade. This impressive new vehicle will give us an SUV that’s ready to offer the drive we’ve been looking for and the package of equipment that we want to enjoy from Hyundai. We recently received an amazing look at this SUV at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Highlighting this new Hyundai

The new Palisade will be a practical choice for many families. This large SUV will be positioned above the Hyundai Tucson and Santa Fe in the lineup, which will allow the Santa Fe XL to disappear, and it will compete with some of the most popular three-row midsize SUVs on the market today. It will offer three rows of seats, an upscale interior design, plenty of electronic items, the utility you need and the quality you expect. The Palisade can handle the job with eight seats and an overall length of nearly 196 inches. The name for this SUV comes from the Pacific Palisades neighborhood in Southern California, to give us a hint that this vehicle is meant for those who want a drive at a higher area of the market.

Getting inside the Palisade

The cabin of this new SUV is constructed of high-quality materials that look like they could be right at home in a luxury car. You’ll be safe on the road with the Hyundai SmartSense which is the suite of advanced safety and driver aids offered in this SUV that you’re going to need on the road. This SUV is projected to earn a five-star crash rating from the NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick+ score from IIHS to give you a safe and confident place for you to drive.

Power under the Hood of this Hyundai

The new Palisade will be powered by the Hyundai Lambda V6 engine which is a 3.8-liter model that makes use of the Atkinson cycle. This engine is able to offer 291 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque on the road. This impressive power plant is attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission to improve the performance and fuel mileage of this SUV. If you need to tow a load behind the vehicle, it’s rated to tow up to 5,000 pounds using an optional Class III receiver hitch to make sure you can get items where you need to.

Modes You’ll Love

The AWD system of the Hyundai Palisade offers you several different driving modes including Comfort, Smart, and Sport. The Comfort setting is for your daily driving needs, Smart can help you save fuel and is the most economical setting, while Sport provides you with enhanced acceleration on the road. There’s a separate Snow mode that improves traction when you’re faced with slippery roads. This impressive new SUV will be offered in the summer of 2019 to be the one that fits at the top of the Hyundai lineup to give you the right SUV to drive.
