2025 Buick Enclave Ups Its Luxury Game With New Redesign

2025 Buick Enclave Ups Its Luxury Game With New Redesign

It’s time to upgrade Buick’s largest SUV. The 2025 Buick Enclave is redesigned and improved to provide an impressive transformation.

Throughout the Buick lineup, you can see influences of the Wildcat EV concept that appeared nearly two years ago. The sharp styling from this concept has finally made its way to the largest of the Buick SUVs, the Enclave. The redesigned model is better than before while wearing a new face that makes it look more appealing and puts the Enclave closer to luxury than ever before.

Shared bits, but not style

GM often uses the same platform and many parts for vehicles across various brand names. The Enclave is the corporate cousin to the Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia. All three models enter new generations and provide three rows of midsize SUV excellence on the road. Although these three SUVs share a platform and some mechanical items, each one has its own unique brand-specific personality to bring the right look and feel to the market. Buick is a step below Cadillac, making it a premium brand, which is why the new Enclave can be close to luxury and might even step over that line when you see the Avenir trim.

New trims and more for your Buick driving experience

The 2024 Buick Enclave trim lineup provides only three models. These are Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir. Every model is larger, wider, and taller than the previous version, and they all ride on the same wheelbase. Each trim sets itself apart with a unique grille and wheel options. The wheels range in size from 18 to 20 inches on the Preferred and ST models, while the Avenir starts with 20-inch wheels and can ride on a set of 22’s if desired.

Stay on both feet

It appears at least one automaker took a page out of the Hyundai book. Many vehicles require you to wave your foot under the bumper sensor to make the power liftgate open, but not the new Enclave. Stand behind the vehicle with the key in your pocket until you hear three beeps. Once you hear this sound, the rear hatch opens. Now, you can laugh at your neighbors who still have to wave their feet under the bumper to make the rear hatch open.

As you look around the outside of the Enclave, you’ll notice the Buick logo on the leading edge of the hood instead of the grille. Enjoy the welcome animation of the lights if you choose the Avenir trim.

The ST goes sporty

ST stands for Sport Touring, which means you expect at least some sportiness from this SUV. The ST model features black body molding and other matching elements that oppose the shiny look of the SUV. This contrast is impressive and gives the SUV the style you want to see.

An excellent Buick powertrain

Every model of the new 2025 Buick Enclave features a new 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 328 horsepower and 326 lb-t of torque. This new system allows the Enclave to tow up to 5,000 pounds when equipped with the trailering package. The engine now mates to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and both FWD and AWD versions are available for this SUV. The Avenir trim comes with adaptive dampers, which makes the driving experience more comfortable.

Going inside the Enclave

The cabin area of the new Enclave should be posh, comfortable, and stylish without going over the top. This area is cushy and classy, making it a pleasure to enjoy the ride from inside this impressive SUV. You’ll find various features make this SUV an excellent choice, including adjustable ambient lighting, a moved shifter, and attractive materials. The Avenir model has several attractive color options, including a blue color on the upper parts of the doors and dashboard. Check out the three-spoke steering wheel, which gives you an excellent feel during your drive.

The most impressive feature of the new 2025 Buick Enclave is a 30-inch curved screen on the dashboard. This screen has a customizable gauge cluster and infotainment system under the glass. The infotainment system uses Google built-in with a voice assistant and an app store with Amazon Alexa. As you might expect, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are a standard part of this premium SUV.

As the 2025 Buick Enclave enters a new generation of driving, we find upscale features and more equipment to give you an impressive three-row driving package. Will this be the new Buick SUV you drive with your family? Which trim will you choose?
