The new model year brought tons of updates: a new exterior design, a more sophisticated interior, tons of new tech features, and more standard driver-assist safety features.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Until now, drivers were used to seeing the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elliottautogroup.com\/jeep-compass-tyler-tx\/\">Jeep Compass<\/a><\/strong> available in five trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Latitude Lux, Limited, and Trailhawk. All of these trims came equipped with a 2.4-liter engine (177 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque) with the option of either a six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic transmission.<\/p>\n<p>Jeep enthusiasts are again ready to stand in ovation at the release of the new Altitude Package.<\/p>\n<h3>What To Expect With Altitude?<\/h3>\n<p>Jeep introduced the new Altitude package at the Chicago Auto Show. This add-on was created based on feedback and requests from customers. People wanted the Jeep Compass to have more <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.car-revs-daily.com\/2022\/03\/04\/jeep-reveals-2022-cherokee-x-also-announces-pricing-changes-for-entire-trim-ladder\/\">custom options<\/a><\/strong> from the factory.<\/p>\n<p>Here is what you can expect from the new Jeep Compass Altitude package:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gloss black exterior badging and accents<\/li>\n<li>18-inch black wheels<\/li>\n<li>Blacked-out roof<\/li>\n<li>Bright exhaust tip<\/li>\n<li>Black vinyl and cloth combination seats with black stitching<\/li>\n<li>Premium upholstery on the steering wheel<\/li>\n<li>Black interior accents<\/li>\n<li>A new black headliner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Altitude package isn\u2019t only about adding a more custom street look. You\u2019ll also get some additional driver-assist features above the standard options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-speed forward collision warning with active braking<\/li>\n<li>Blind-spot monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Active lane management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These systems are added to the standard forward collision mitigation, lane-departure mitigation, and blind-spot monitoring features that come on every trim level.<\/p>\n<h3>What Does It Cost?<\/h3>\n<p>If you want to add the Altitude package to your Jeep Compass, you\u2019ll have to go with a 4&#215;4 model. The base-level Sport Trim can be equipped with the right drivetrain and starts at $27,890. Adding the Altitude package will add $1,645 to the price of your Compass.<\/p>\n<h3>There\u2019s Always More With A Jeep Compass<\/h3>\n<p>The Altitude package joins an entire host of available add-on packages. It joins another newly released option called the Limited-based (RED) edition. The RED add-on package is used to help raise funds for global health emergencies.
