If you’ve been thinking about adding a new Seltos to your driveway, here’s what you need to know about the latest model.

Kia Seltos Delivers a New Look That Turns Heads

Kia has enhanced the Seltos’s curb appeal for 2024 with bolder, more expressive exterior styling. The refined front fascia sports a new intricate mesh grille design along with sleek, swept-back headlights. Distinctive details like 3D-textured alloy wheel designs and an elongated rear light bar add visual flair. The taillights now extend onto the tailgate for a wide, stable stance. Eight exterior paint colors are offered, including vibrant hues like Mars Orange and Starbright Yellow. Inside, the Seltos also receives an upgrade with an available cutting-edge 10.25-inch dual-screen infotainment and digital gauge display panel. Ambient interior lighting provides a refined feel. These updates build on the Seltos’s already eye-catching design.

Roomy and Versatile Cabin

Don’t let its compact footprint fool you: the Kia Seltos provides impressive interior space for passengers and cargo. Headroom and legroom are generous, especially compared with rivals like the Hyundai Kona. Even tall rear passengers have sufficient knee and head clearance. The rear seats fold flat in a 60/40 split to accommodate long or bulky items like camping gear, golf clubs, or snowboards. During testing, the Seltos swallowed several large camera bags, suitcases, and backpacks with room to spare. The refined cabin materials and available two-tone color schemes rival more expensive SUVs.

A Choice of Capable Powertrains

The Kia Seltos offers two punchy four-cylinder engines. The base 2.0-liter provides decent power, while the available 195-horsepower turbocharged 1.6-liter motor adds an extra kick for passing and merging. This turbo engine feels energetic, with strong mid-range torque. It delivers brisk acceleration, getting the Seltos up to highway speeds quickly. Front-wheel drive comes standard across the lineup, with all-wheel drive optional on all trims except the base LX. The Seltos delivers sporty, responsive handling along with a smooth, comfortable ride quality even over rough roads. The available all-wheel drive provides enhanced grip and control.

Upscale Features and Tech in the 2024 Kia Seltos

Even entry-level Seltos LX models come decently equipped with features like automatic headlights, keyless entry, and an eight-inch touchscreen. Upper SX trims truly go upscale with amenities like quilted leather seats, a 10-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, wireless smartphone charging, and onboard navigation. The surround view parking monitor provides visibility around the vehicle. Upper trims also get ambient lighting, satin chrome interior accents, and a sunroof for an airy feel. The latest tech, like the high-resolution dual-screen infotainment and digital cockpit, keeps the Kia Seltos feeling thoroughly modern. Convenience features like remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated front seats round out the premium touches.

The Kia Seltos: An Ideal Blend of Style and Substance

With its refined driving dynamics, eye-catching exterior design, versatile and roomy interior, plentiful features, and strong value, the 2024 Kia Seltos hits a sweet spot in the small SUV segment.

Shoppers wanting a subcompact crossover that combines panache and practicality will find the Seltos a compelling choice. For those seeking a stylish, sporty small SUV, the Kia Seltos delivers.
