The Hyundai team<\/a> decided to rename the Santa Fe by dropping the Sport part of the name. This move simply allows the Santa Fe Sport<\/a> to become a midsize crossover that\u2019s named in a similar manner to some of the other models on the market. The Santa Fe will continue on as a two-row five-passenger model while the new three-row version will be called the Santa Fe XL. If you\u2019re used the naming structure used by some of the other brands, this will make perfect sense to you when you shop for this impressive SUV.<\/p>\n

Roomier for Your Comfort<\/h2>\n

The new platform used for the Santa Fe is larger than the previous model to make sure you can have more room in the cabin to give you the quality you\u2019re looking for and the practicality you need. This new model is also built with a longer hood, a more upright windshield, and a trimmer front overhand. The front shows off with a prominent grill and daytime running lights that look great. The regular Santa Fe has 2.6 inches more in the wheelbase and an added overall length of 2.8 inches to give you the size you want.<\/p>\n

The Santa Fe Accommodates Your Needs<\/h2>\n

Most two-row SUVs have seats that are positioned in one place that don\u2019t move at all. This means you have to adjust the cargo and passengers to fit the vehicle. With the new Santa Fe, you\u2019ll have a second-row seat that moves forward and backward to adjust for you to be able to fit what you need. This seat also reclines to make it easier for passengers in this area to feel more comfortable during the drive. With this movable seat, you\u2019ll have the practicality you need and an area that accommodates what you\u2019re looking for.<\/p>\n

The Power You Need<\/h2>\n

Because the Santa Fe is built to be a family vehicle, you need to have a balance of fuel mileage and power in order to fit your budget the right way. The base power plant is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 185 horsepower and 178 lb.-ft. of torque. The upgraded engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that\u2019s good for 235 ponies and 260 lb.-ft. of torque for the drive. Both engines are attached to an excellent eight-speed automatic transmission that makes it easy to have the fuel mileage needed.<\/p>\n

The Santa Fe Can Keep You Safe<\/h2>\n

When you choose either the Santa Fe or the Santa Fe XL, you\u2019re going to have the benefit of several active safety features for the drive. These items include forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alerts, adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability, and automatic high beams for the drive. Even though the Santa Fe has jettisoned the Sport name, it carries on as one of the most impressive midsize crossover SUV models that you can drive when you\u2019re ready to get out on the road.<\/p>\n
